Sangwali Safaris is a renowned Namibian safari outfitter with more than 20 years of experience in arranging exclusive hunting safaris and private tours throughout Namibia. The company’s own private hunting reserve covers approximately 20,000 hectares in central Namibia, while Sangwali also organizes hunting safaris and tailor-made journeys in other parts of the country and selected neighbouring destinations.
Hunting takes place in varied African terrain with strong populations of more than 20 different plains game species, ranging from the small steenbok to the impressive Cape eland. Great emphasis is placed on ethical, traditional fair-chase hunting. Guests are accompanied by experienced professional hunters and skilled trackers with extensive knowledge of the area and its wildlife. Sangwali also offers dangerous game hunting, including specialized leopard and cheetah hunts in Namibia. In Mozambique, hunts for Cape buffalo, crocodile and other species can also be arranged.
Accommodation is provided at Sangwali Camp, where personal service, comfort and a relaxed African atmosphere are at the heart of the experience. The lodge features six luxurious rooms accommodating up to 12 guests. Each room is decorated in a classic African style with local details and offers air conditioning, spacious bathrooms and all essential modern amenities.
The camp also features a swimming pool, extensive gardens, comfortable lounge areas and several fireplaces where guests can relax after a day in the field. High-speed Wi-Fi is available, making it easy to stay in touch with family or work during the stay.
Cuisine plays an important role at Sangwali Safaris. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main dining room, inspired by traditional Southern African bush cuisine. Game meat is regularly featured on the menu, often accompanied by excellent South African wines. The fully stocked bar provides a welcoming setting for relaxing evenings.
Non-hunting guests are equally welcome. Sangwali arranges full-day excursions to nearby national parks and towns, as well as longer journeys through Namibia and neighbouring countries. This allows both hunters and companions to experience the country’s nature, wildlife, hospitality and magnificent landscapes.
Accommodation at the lodge is built in a classic African style with stone walls and thatched roofs, creating an authentic and atmospheric African experience throughout the stay. At Osonjiva, guests enjoy truly comfortable and beautifully set surroundings. The lodge consists of 2 executive suites with minibar, 2 double rooms, 1 family room, and 2 twin rooms. Each room is individually decorated...
