Estancia Cortaderas is one of the finest lodges in the world for bird hunters and anglers. The lodge is located north of Buenos Aires in the province of Entre Ríos. Built in traditional colonial style, it nevertheless offers all the modern amenities of a small luxury hotel. One thing is certain – you will not be bored here! The outfitter works hard to provide the very best hunting and fishing arrangements while maintaining outstanding lodge facilities.
The newly renovated Estancia lodge is situated on a cliff 45 meters above the mighty Paraná River, offering breathtaking views of the river valley from each of its 10 spacious rooms. All rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds, heating and air conditioning, private bathrooms, and terraces with a view.
Upon arrival at the Estancia lodge, you first pass through the spacious gun room, which features gun racks and storage space for each hunter. From there, you enter the reception hall, which also provides access to the second floor.
Amenities on the second floor include a spa featuring a steam bath, sauna, massage room, and an indoor jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful river valley. The reception hall also leads to the elegant living room, flanked by a bar and entertainment area on one side and the Estancia dining room on the other.
Food & Beverages
After a long day of hunting or fishing, guests return to the lodge for a relaxing evening with excellent food and drinks. The inviting fireplace in the living room and the well-stocked bar help create a relaxed atmosphere before dinner is served. The chef’s favorites include pepper-stuffed dove breasts wrapped in bacon and grilled over charcoal, dove breast “milanesa” (tenderloin, breaded and fried), fried perdiz legs, and local cheeses and cold cuts. Argentine wines are world-renowned, and the Estancia boasts a selection of some of Argentina’s finest labels. You may be pleasantly surprised by how much you enjoy varietals such as the robust Malbec or Tannat.
