France is not usually the first country one thinks about when your thoughts turn to hunting roebuck. That’s a pity as in France you can enjoy an unrivalled and quite unique roebuck hunt. Our districts in France all report good populations of roe deer with great trophy quality, and have excellent hunting organisation. The French countryside is amongst the most beautiful in Europe and very varied; lush and green, gentle hills, woodlands, mountains and some areas of farmland.
You can choose to hunt either 1:1 or 2:1. It is also possible for 3-4 hunters to hunt here at the same time. With 1:1 guiding the maximum is 2-3 hunters. The hunt is a well known blend of lying in wait and stalking. The French gamekeepers are very skilled and have plenty of experience.
