This district, which is some 27,000 hectares in size, lies in north east Croatia - close to the Hungarian border. This very beautiful district varies between areas of forest and open countryside. The terrain is relatively flat and is bordered by the river Danube. The district has very good populations of red deer and wild boar. The red stag hunts are carried out as a blend of stalking and lying in wait, while wild boar is hunted in driven hunts in the open countryside in combination with a few fenced enclosures with a minimum size of of 1000 hectares. If you want to shoot a good red stag, here you have the chance of finding a stag of over 10 kg. or over 200 CIC points.
On driven hunts for wild boar our partner usually expects a result of around circa. 60-80 boars, and there are now extra supplements payable for keilers. The absolute minimum group size need to adequately cover the drives on this sprawling district is 10 guns – but we recommend that groups should consist of 14-15 guns, to give better coverage of the drives.
The hunt organisation in this district is first class. You will hunt with skilled, experienced hunting guides who will make sure visiting hunters will enjoy an unforgettable experience!
