South Africa is famous for excellent antelope hunting, and with Julius Gers in the beautiful Northern Cape you can really enjoy this exciting bush experience. The farm itself - Klein Papkuil - covers some 13,000 ha, while an additional 30,000 ha of hunting is available on neighbouring properties.
The farm lies some 115 km west of Kimberley, where you can take a domestic flight to from Johannesburg.
Gers Safaris is home to 30 different game species, and offers some of the best huling in South Africa. It is absolutely not easy to hunt here, you should rather expect exciting tracking and stalking on foot through dense bush and rugged terrain. The wealth of wild olive trees growing here has made it possible for Julius Gers to re-introduce animal species into the nature here, that hd been close to extinction, such as the spectacular sable and roan antelopes. Both bow- and rifle hunters are welcome, giving the hunter the opportunenitc to combine both passions.
