Tibetan Gazelle

Scientific Name: Procapra picticaudata

Subspecies: None.

Distribution: The Xizang plateau (Tibet) to the province of Qinghai, south to Ladakh.

Habitat: High altitude plains with grass and rocks.

Description: Small gazelle weighing up to 35 kg and measuring up to 65 cm over the shoulder. It reaches a total body length of 1,05 m without tail (10 cm).

Hunting available in: The area of distribution. But not in China at the moment.
