Scientific Name: Bubalus mindorensis

Distribution: The Philippines: Mt. Iglet, Mt. Baco, Mt. Calavita and Sablayon.

Habitat: Dense forest and bamboo thickets. Amongst reeds and on open grassland in the vicinity of water.

Description: Relatively small wild cattle weighing up to 300 kg and reaching a total body length of 1,80 m without tail (30 cm).
