Java Rhinoceros

Scientific Name: Rhinoceros sondaicus

Distribution: West Java, Laos on the border to Kambodia, in the border area between Thailand/Burma.

Habitat: Primary  tropical rainforest, dry deciduous forests and swamps.

Description: Out of the three rhinoceros, this rhinoceros is in the middle in terms of size. Body weight is up to 1,499 kilos, with a body lenght without tail (60 centimeters) up to 310 centimeters and a shoulder height of 150 centimeters.
