The Hunt
The hunt is conducted as an exciting combination of stalking and high seat hunting, where you move through the terrain together with experienced local guides, making the most of the natural cover. The terrain is varied and offers a beautiful mix of woodland, open fields, meadows, and small plantations, creating ideal conditions for roe deer while also providing a hunt full of variation and intense moments.
With around 8,000 hectares of hunting ground spread across several estates and an annual harvest of approximately 100 bucks, this is an area with solid hunting opportunities and a well-documented population.

Experience Scotland
The hunting areas are located approximately one hour south of Edinburgh, which is easily reached by direct flights from Copenhagen. Many choose to rent a car, providing flexibility to explore the area both between hunts and during leisure time, but airport pick-up can also be arranged. Southern Scotland is known for its classic hunting landscapes with rolling hills, ancient woodlands, and charming farmland, where nature itself is an experience.

During your stay, you will be accommodated at Dryburgh Hotel, beautifully situated in the area. You will stay in comfortable double rooms with breakfast included, and the hotel provides a cosy base where you can relax after a day’s hunting and enjoy the Scottish atmosphere.
Practical Information
The hunt is organised with a focus on quality and personal attention, and up to three hunters are hosted at a time, ensuring a personal experience. It is also possible for two hunters to hunt together with one guide if you wish to share the experience.
