You will be accommodated with the head stalker and his wife, creating a very personal and welcoming atmosphere during your stay. Hunters stay in a separate annex next to their private home, and the stay includes half board.
The hosts provide a hearty breakfast before the day’s hunt and a delicious homemade dinner in the evening, where the day’s experiences in the field can be shared in relaxed surroundings. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, offering an authentic experience of a classic English hunting stay.
The hunt primarily takes place in large agricultural areas across several estates with a total area of approximately 10,000 hectares. The area is managed by four experienced stalkers and hunting guides. Hunting is always conducted with personal guiding on a 1:1 basis, ensuring the best conditions for selecting the right buck and making the most of each hunting day.
The terrain is highly varied and consists of beautiful rolling countryside with gentle hills, woodland, meadows and large farmland areas. This variation creates an ideal habitat for roe deer and provides excellent opportunities for exciting roe buck hunting.
In addition to the exciting roe buck hunting, the area is also home to a strong population of sika deer. These can be hunted either in August or later in the autumn during the rut, which typically takes place from the end of September into October.
This makes it possible to combine roe buck hunting with the pursuit of one of England’s most exciting deer species.
