The hunt is done from comfortable high seats at baiting places, and all the time you are accompanied by a professional stalker, who with great certainty can evaluate the size of the bears. There are 16 special bear high seats/baiting places in the district, and they are all being maintained/kept active all year round so chances of success are very high. The population of brown bear in Croatia is very good, and the state offers more licenses every year. Every year medal bears are shot and even gold medal are often seen. Gold medals start at 300 CIC point and one year even two new national records over 500 CIC points were shot by foreign hunters. You can also do spot and stalk hunting, but this form of hunting is less successful than hunting from the high seats.
From mid-March to mid-April, or from October to late November.
By flight to Zagreb, where you can either rent a car, or we can organize for pick-up and transfer.

It normally takes about 3 months to get a CITES import allowance. You can choose to have a local taxidermist do the necessary, and you can arrange a meeting to inspect his work in Zagreb. Afterwards the trophy can be forwarded.
