In some of the camps hunter sleep in timber cabins, while other consist of large tents equipped with heating stoves. Camp beds are provided, but we recommend hunters bring sleeping bags and sleeping mats for extra comfort. The guides will prepare all the hunter’s meals during the hunt. The weather in May and June can be extremely varied, with anything from snow and rain to warm sunny days, so it is important to be properly equipped and plan the tour well in advance.
It can be necessary to spend a few nights in a hotel before or after the hunt. These are not included in the cost of the tour. We recommend that you spend an extra day in Edmonton which, amongst other things, will give you the chance to visit the huge hunting and fishing store Cabelas.
