COVID-19 Guidelines

Guidelines for future travel in connection with COVID-19

You have bought a trip to a country to where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all non-necessary travels and what do you do ?

As a starting point you have the right to cancel without any charges if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advise against travel to the destination at the time of departure. It is the precautionary principle as the Ministry is updating their travel advisories every Thursday.

Therefore our cancellation of booked trips will take place 1-2 weeks before planned departure date for journeys with flights and approx. 1 week before for self-drive holidays.

You have bought a trip to a country to where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs allows travels?

If a destination has been taken off the list of countries to where the Ministry advise against travels, the trip will have to be completed.

As a starting point there is no exception to this rule. If you for health reasons cannot go your cancellation insurance will have to cover you.

How quickly do you get your money back?

We strive to refund the paid-in amount as quickly as possible and at the latest at around the time where your trip should have taken place.

If you wish, you can also in most cases postpone the trip to a later date in 2021/22 without any charges

You have bought a trip to a country to where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all non-necessary travel but date of departure is more than 3 weeks ahead and what do you do ?

It is still the precautionary principle. You basically have to wait for the situation. Therefore you are not entitled to cancel and get your money back.

If you never the less, wish to cancel the trip, there will be cancellation charges. You must contact your travel consultant in order to get information about the charges, at they depend on the possibility of getting a refund for accommodation, flights etc. Please also see below conc. “Postponement of trips until 2021/22”.

Postponement of trips until 2021/22 with more than 3 weeks to departure date

You will be charged a fee of 10% of the cost of the trip – but max. € 200 per person. If there are any costs connected to the postponement they will have to be added to the 10% fee.
