Zlotoryja

The Zlotoryja hunting district covers a total area of 11,795 hectares, of which 7,450 hectares are forest, while the remaining 4,345 hectares consist of agricultural land and meadows. The forest is primarily coniferous (72%) with birch (10%). The area is mostly flat. Zlotoryja has 105 high stands and watchtowers, as well as 10 feeding stations. Up to 3-4 hunters can hunt at a time on individual hunts at Zlotoryja, while driven hunts are organized for groups of 10-12 hunters. However, driven hunts are currently not offered (season 2025/26) due to the swine fever outbreak.

The district is home to roe deer, wild boar, and red deer. Zlotoryja has an excellent population of roe deer, and each year around 65 bucks are harvested, with good opportunities for strong bucks between 300 and 400 grams net. Bucks weighing over 400 grams are also shot. The red deer population is less abundant, with an annual red deer quota of 10 stags.

Accommodation is provided in the district’s hunting lodge, located in the heart of the forest, surrounded by beautiful scenery, with 2 km to the nearest neighbor. Excellent meals are served. The hunting manager, Piotr, speaks good German. The guest area on the first floor includes, in addition to a cozy lounge, 6 double rooms and one triple room. All rooms have their own toilet and bathroom. A refrigerator is available in the lounge. There is access to a locked garage and cold storage. Wi-Fi and mobile coverage are available.

Zlotoryja is located 125 km from the Forst/Olszyna border crossing, 30 km from the city of Legnica, which is the nearest larger city, and 100 km from Wroclaw, the nearest international airport.
