The Rozanna hunting district, located in the picturesque northwest of Poland, covers a total area of 9,113 hectares. Of this, 5,488 hectares are forests, while the remaining 3,625 hectares are primarily agricultural land. The district also features several lakes, the largest of which (25 km²) forms the northern and eastern borders. The forests in Rozanna are primarily composed of coniferous trees (about 70%), with the remaining 30% consisting of deciduous trees such as oak, birch, beech, alder, and aspen. The area is mostly flat. Rozanna has 44 high stands and watchtowers, as well as 9 feeding stations. Up to 6 hunters can hunt at a time on individual hunts, but 4 hunters is the optimal number. Currently, large driven hunts are not offered, as the hunting manager believes that stalking hunts yield the best results in this area.
The district is home to roe deer, red deer, and wild boar. Each year, around 30 roe deer bucks are harvested. Trophy-wise, most of the bucks weigh under 350 grams net, but many bucks weighing over 350 grams are also shot. The annual red deer quota is around 16 stags, most of which have a trophy weight of 4-7 kg, though stags with antlers weighing over 7 kg also occur. In 2023, a stag weighing over 10 kg was shot. There is a good population of wild boar in Rozanna, and these are hunted both during individual hunts throughout the season and during "combination hunts," which blend driven hunting and individual hunting for smaller groups.
Accommodation is provided in the district’s cozy hunting lodge, located in a pleasant setting. The guest area on the first floor includes 6 double rooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. A refrigerator is available for the guests' use. There is access to a locked garage and cold storage. Meals are served in the living/dining room on the ground floor. Wi-Fi and mobile coverage are available.
Rozanna is located 275 km from the Kolbaskowo border crossing south of Szczecin, 35 km from Bydgoszcz, which is the nearest larger city, and 170 km from Gdańsk, the nearest international airport.
