Munyamadzi is the name of this 20.000 ha private game reserve, which lies on the banks of the River Luangwa next to South Luangwa National Park. Munyamadzi is one of Zambia’s best and most attractive game-reserves. To the north it is bordered by the South Luangwa National Park and a number of other private big-game reserves. To the west lies theWest Petauke Game Management Area and the River Luangwa. Naturally none of this who area is fenced. One of the things that makes Munyamadzi unique is that there is no governmental interference in this district, as it is a private game reserve. During your hunt you will be accompanied by a ”Gamescout" , as well as your PH and your trackers. During your hunt the whole reserve will be at your disposal. The district itself is outstanding and Munyamadzi leaves you with the impression that this is how a real big-game hunt in Africa really should be. The varied landscape offers dense bush along the river, open plains with scattered vegetation away from the water, together with mountains to the east. It is unique district and one you really should experience.
