The gray wolf is the largest wild member of the dog family and is the ancestor of the domestic dog. It has heavy frame, long legs, large feet and thick, bushy tail. The skull is especially large, with powerful jaws and large, well-developed, meat-eating teeth. The fur is moderately long and thick. The overall color varies from grayish-brown to yellowish-brown, and there may be a reddish tinge on the head, ears, shoulders and legs.

Wolf hunting is a driven hunt with flags. After the wolf pack is noticed, the guides flag the territory. Usually the circumference totals around 5 kilometers. After that each hunter is assigned with shooting position inside the circumference. Then the beaters start their work in order to make the wolves run to the hunters. The average shooting distance is from 50 to 100 meters.
Day 1: Arrival in Moscow. Customs formalities, then transfer to the railway station for night train to Kirov or Vologda (about 8-14 hours).
Day 2: Arrival, car transfer to accommodation place (from 100 to 200 km.).
Day 3-6: 4 day hunt.
Day 7: Car transfer to train station (100 – 200 km.). Night train to Moscow.
Day 8: Arrival in Moscow. Flight back home.
