You can fly to Kelowna via Vancouver or Calgary. On arrival in Kelowna you will be met by the outfitter on the airport, and afterwards taken to your hotel. During the winter months it is normal to sleep at the hotel during the whole week you spend hunting. The winters can be very cold in British Columbia and the hunting cabins in the area are not equipped to provide warm and comfortable accommodation at this time of year.
Our partner uses a number of hotels in Kelowna. They are of a good, comfortable standard, and natural provide all modern facilities such as a private bathroom/toilet, Wi-Fi etc..
The hunting districts lie in the area surrounding Kelowna, and the hunters will be collected early each morning by the outfitter. The hunt will carry on until the late afternoon, when the hunter will be returned to the hotel to dine. All food is included during your week hunting. Breakfast and dinner will be served at the hotel or in nearby restaurants.
Kelowna lies right on the shores of lake Okanagan, surrounded by magnificent scenery. Kelowna is a large town with circa. 180,000 inhabitants. You will have a good opportunity to explore the town of Kelowna and its shops if you wish to do so. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping centres etc. which you can visit if you have the time during your week hunting here.
