Mackenzie Mountains

The Mackenzie Mountains are the mountain range that separates British Columbia and NWT. They are one Canada’ s furthest flung outposts, a wilderness that can only be accessed by a light aircraft or helicopter flight from the small town of Norman Wells.

Here there are large populations of Dall Sheep, Mountain Caribou and Alaskan/Yukon Moose. There are also large numbers of grizzly bears, but it is not possible to hunt this species here. It is possible to hunt wolf, and if the opportunity arises a wolf can make a wonderful bonus trophy.

The hunting district is gigantic, it is made up of huge mountain ranges, broad valleys, rivers and some forest in lower lying areas. Hunters visiting here really will experience a total wilderness.  er gigantisk og består af store bjergkæder, brede dale, floder og nogle skove i de lavere regioner. accommodation will either be in wood cabins or tented camps, depending on where and for what species you are hunting.
