County Kerry

Our partner in Ireland has access to around 20,000 ha. of hunting in Co. Kerry, with a really good population of sika deer.

In the higher parts of the district there is also a good population of wild goats, so if desired, it is possible to combine hunting for sika and goat. The wild goat hunts typically take place on the mountain-sides close to rocky caves. All the hunters that have hunted wild goats here have enjoyed a really good hunt.

Sika stags are an incredibly fascinating creature to experience these stags are often referred to as black ghosts. Hunting them is very interesting indeed, during the rut the whistling calls of the stags really does give an extra dimension to the hunting experience.

Although the hunting district is hilly, it is suitable for hunters of all abilities as there are many gentler plateaus. The hunt is a combination of using high-seats and stalking. This district, with its mountains, large lakes and great forests is so beautiful and gives such a wide range of experiences, it can be warmly recommended.
