Brechin

This district offers really good rough shooting for a wide selection of game such including pheasant, partrige, hares, woodcock, rabbits and pigeons - depending on the season. Brechin is one of Scotland’s largest and best known estates, lying around 1 hours drive south of Aberdeen. It is a typical highland estates, with hunting traditions that date back centuries. The landscape of eastern Scotland is not as stipend rugged as that of the west, but it can still be a very challenging hunt. The rough shooting takes place in the lower lying areas of the district. The estate offers really good rough shooting for a wide selection of game such including pheasant, partrige, hares, woodcock, rabbits and pigeons - depending on the season. Hunters can expect  7-10 items of game per hunter per day. While hunting you will always be in the company of a guides and their dogs.  Naturally,  the guides speak English. The best period for rough shooting is from mid-October to the end of January.

The scenery in this area is absolutely beautiful, with areas of both highland and lowlands. Hunting here in these surroundings can thrill even the most experienced hunter. Scotland offers an out-doors adventure the like of which can be found nowhere else.
