Scientific Name: Neotragus moschatus

Subspecies: Livingstone's Suni (Neotragus m. livingstonianus)

Distribution: Suni: Kenya and Tanzania. Livingstone's Suni: Mozambique and South Africa.

Habitat: Dry country with thick bush.

Description: Small antelope weighing up to 6 kg with a shoulder height normally not exceeding 40 cm. General colour dull fawn grey to rich chestnut on back, with a slight speckled appearance. It has white markings over the eyes and on the throat. The horns are straight, thick and flattened, strongly ridged except at their tips.

Hunting method: Pursch, driven hunt or lying in wait. Is often hunted with shot gun.
