Hunters fly to Norman Wells in NWT via Edmonton. You will stay overnight in a hotel in either  Edmonton or Norman Wells, depending on your flight times. From Norman Wells you will fly out to the basecamp in the Mackenzie Mountains by float plane., landing on the lake next to camp. here you will meet the outfitter and your guide.

Hunters will spend a few days in basecamp, but most of their time will be spent in hunting camps or wood cabins out in the valleys with your guide

All food snd accommodation during the hunt is included in the price, but you may need to budget for extra hotel accommodation and meals before and after the hunt.

Norman Wells is a small town, but hunters can arrange to spend an extra day in Edmonton during their tour to explore the city. There is much to see in Edmonton, and for hunters, a visit to the large hunting and fishing store, Cabelas, can be of great interest.
