Eastern Cape Coastal

The hunting district lies between Kenton-on-Sea, Port Alfred and Grahamstown – along one of the most pristine beaches in the country. The hunt focuses on Blue Duiker, Caracal, Cape Bushbuck, Oribi, and Common Duiker.

Here it is also possible to see a wide range of other mammals such as the Footed Gerbil, Large-spotted Genet, Tree Dassie, Black-backed Jackal, Blue Duiker, Common Duiker, Bushbuck, Bushpig, and 44 bird species including Damara Tern, Jackass Penguin, Gannet, Crowned Hornbill, Trumpeter Hornbill and Knysna Loerie.

The weather here can change quickly. High winds can occur from April to September. Rain can fall at any time of years, but largely comes in the spring and autumn. Summerdays can be very hot.
